The treatment is composed mainly of helping the patient cope with the illness and make the remaining years of his life comfortable. There is indeed a future full of hope to these patients’. We must know how to care for them appropriately especially if they happen to be our family members. Communicating with them should be done in a nice manner. He seldom hangs out with us. He is not the same jolly friend anymore. He confessed that he acquired the disease to a partner. Stick to one partner. Think not only to yourself, but of your baby too. Near our place is a woman which was known to have multiple sex partners. She was often seen with different men staying at their house. Months passed, we found out that she is pregnant. And after almost a year she gave birth. It was only that time when she found out that she has gonorrhea. And her baby? The innocent child ended up being blind. It’s the effect when the pregnant mother has gonorrhea, her child will suffer in a complication called neonatal blindness. That was the hardest thing for her to accept.

Diarrhea is dangerous

Diarrhea affects lots of people regardless of the life status they have. It could strike to everyone most especially in children. Diarrhea is not a disease itself. Most of the time, it is a symptom of an underlying disease. We sometimes don’t pay much attention to it because we are not knowledgeable enough about the possible consequences it may bring. But mind you, this causes dehydration if not treated in its early stage or worse, death.
