Oatmeal has lots of benefits, one of which is its efficacy in lowering cholesterol specifically bad cholesterol or what is also known as Low Density Lipoprotein. Studies also show that it can lower blood pressure. It can enhance insulin’s sensitivity too. That’s a lot of reasons for you to really love eating oat meal, no wonder why people include it in their meal, most of the time during breakfast. It is also easy to prepare and is budget friendly. What ask for more? Oatmeal is indeed a healthy food.

Let’s face it; we prefer processed foods most the time. Maybe, for the reason of having it quickly cooked. Those canned goods, artificially prepared foods-we have lots of it at our kitchen, we are fond of buying such items. Do these foods bring about something to our health? Yes, they do. They contribute a lot, but not to benefit but harm our good health. It has a negative effect. These processed foods contain artificial preservatives. Which when taken in large amount can cause a negative feedback to our body’s system. So, the next time we go to grocery stores think of those items were putting at our shop cart. Health is at stake to these processed foods.

Is milk good for ulcer?

Is milk good for people with ulcer? Many would say yes. A lot of people still believe in the fallacy that it is best for people to drink milk especially in the morning because it will coat the intestinal mucosa. That was a wrong practice. It couldn’t do any good to treat the condition, rather it aggravates it. Why? Remember, when one has ulcer, it has erosion in the lining of the stomach and milk is acidic in nature, because it is from lactic acid. So, it’s like making the condition worse. It’s time to correct that wrong belief. Be knowledgeable enough.
